Went for an oil change, the first since purchasing a used 2014 Subaru Forester. After they completed it I went on a 300 mile trip, after which I noticed a funky, burnt oil smell coming from my engine. I popped the hood and found a pool of oil sitting around my oil filter. I should have never taking this anywhere other than than Subaru Dealership. Lesson learned.

Friendly staff and quick turnaround on a smog check. Only downside was no waiting room but with Covid it would probably be closed anyway.

I can't evaluate the quality of a smog test but I can speak to the efficient, pleasant, professional interaction with everyone at Golden Gear. Especially impressed with their thorough disinfecting of vehicle after service.
