I got my '05 Honda Civic smog checked @ Golden Gear. Alex was on time w my appointment and the job was done in the time estimated time (half hour) Alex was very professional. I'd go back for other items and I have already recommended him to a friend.

I appreciate that Alex was willing to take my car the same day I called in and although there were other jobs in front of mine, he assessed the problems and called me immediately to set up a repair plan. I felt he was honest and up front. He was able to get the work done in the timeframe that was necessary for me. Needed a smog check on a 1987 vehicle, and they did an efficient job. Even though rear engine cover had to be unlatched for smogging, they didn’t have any problem or “extra charge.” Main thing is, I passed!
